Zero Balancing was developed by Dr. Fritz Smith, osteopathic physician and one of the first acupuncturists to be certified in the United States. Dr Smith discovered that when he balanced a Western, scientific approach to the physical body with Eastern concepts of energy and healing, his patients got better faster. And, in an unexpected turn, their lives and relationships improved as well. By focusing on bone, and in particular on the body’s foundation joints – the primary function of which is to absorb stresses rather than to facilitate voluntary movement – ZB works in the places where you “don’t know what you don’t know.” It increases awareness and bridges the conscious and unconscious minds.
