Experience Life on Zero Balancing

When I get a ZB, afterwards, I feel like I'm just all together again. Like I'm "in" myself. Like, "Ok, I'm back, now I can handle anything. Let's go!" A.K.

What’s a Zero Balancing Session like?

The hallmark of Zero Balancing is how good it feels, and how good it leaves you feeling. You’ll notice lifting and lengthening sensations as finger pressure brings awareness back to places where your body has lost track of itself. The gentle touch goes deep to the bone, where old tensions and hurts can become lodged. As we hold these old patterns in curiosity and acceptance, your body relaxes and begins heal. New ways of handling old problems become available. You find yourself more resilient in the face of challenge. On the table, inward change is accompanied by outward signs – a sigh, a breath, an expansive quiet, sometimes a trickling tear – evidence that your nervous system is reorganizing.

A session begins with a brief conversation to clarify your goals and reasons for coming. Then we “say hello” with gentle touch to your back and shoulders. Once you lie down, comfortably clothed and resting on your back, the session follows a carefully designed sequence. We’ll work first to balance your low back, pelvis and legs, then upper back, head and arms, and finish with an integrating pass from your head back to your feet. Many people comment on how tall, relaxed and calm they feel on getting up from the table.
